About Lily & Bird
Sue Steer has been practicing mindfulness for around 10 years and has led meditation groups in various ways for many years. Having felt the benefits of Mindful practice personally, Sue trained as a Mindfulness Teacher in 2018. Lily & Bird was created as a way to promote the Mindfulness Courses and to help maintain connections with those who would like to continue their Mindfulness journey as a group.
Whilst incorporating all the essentials of a Mindfulness Stress Based Reduction Programme, Sue also ensures the courses are designed to enable people to acknowledge their own spiritual path whilst on their Mindful Journey. Sue spends her days as a Pioneer Community Worker and Community Minister and loves working with people of various faiths. Whilst following a Christian spiritual path herself she sees the benefits of mindfulness for everyone. Lily & Bird offer a range of Mindfulness courses and sessions ensuring whatever faith background you come from you will be able discover the benefits of Mindfulness.
Sue feels very at home in Celtic Christianity and Contemplative Prayer and is ordained as Pioneer Baptist Minister. She is married to Dave and they have two grown up children. She loves walking, gardening and being out in Thelma the campervan!
Sue is a Trustee of ACCEPT Mental Health Charity and the profits from Lily & Bird are donated to the ongoing work of the charity.
